Etai has over 7 years of experience in R&D and biotechnology startups. He is well experienced in basic, modern molecular biology research and in the design, promotion and inspection of applied biotechnological projects. In SpacePharma, Etai is responsible for supporting, planing, designing and executing experiments in the microgravity environment of space.      

 

Prior to joining SpacePharma Etai has served 5 years as R&D Manager at Urifer LTD, a Biopharmaceutical startup company engaged in the development of new anti-cancer drugs, where he was responsible for advancing the R&D from early-stage drug discovery process to the of pre-clinical studies of the new anti-cancer drugs.

Etai is a co-inventor of several patents and publications and serves as a director at Bashan Bar-Ilan management services LTD – Ramat-gan, Israel

Etai holds a PhD in Molecular and cellular biology from the Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials - Bar-Ilan University, Israel and an MBA in Management and Organizational Behavior from The Graduate School of Business Administration - Bar-Ilan University, Israel.

In his spare time Etai is a TED translator and has a studio for electronic music production and sound design.
